Yeshivot Bnei Akiva Mission, February 15-19: Creating Connections

Photo 1.jpg

The upcoming mission to Israel of leaders and friends of YBA-North America will focus on building connections between the YBA in Israel, and our friends in the US. Participants will have the opportunity to see Yeshivot Bnei Akiva in action as they visit a variety of our 75 institutions- boys' and girls' high schools, Yeshivot Hesder, pre-army Mechinot, and the AMI conversion program. We will meet with students who represent all of the demographics in YBA- from native Israelis, to Olim from the US and Ethiopia. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with some of YBA's distinguished alumni, including Deputy Foreign Minister Tzippy Hotovely, Education Minister Naftali Bennet, Head of the Mossad Yossi Cohen, Director General of the Prime Minister's office Eli Groner, in addition to alumni serving with distinction in the IDF, some of Israel's top educators, rabbis and communal leaders. One especially exciting and meaningful element of the mission will be a Shabbat of Unity and Leadership, as lay leaders of YBA in North America are joined at the David Citadel Hotel by lay leaders of YBA in Israel. We are certain that everyone who participates in the mission will get first-hand experience of the great work that goes on at every level of Yeshivot Bnei Akiva, and will strengthen their connections.
