As part of YBA's ongoing effort to promote excellence and experience in STEM subjects, a delegation of 20 girls from Ulpenot all over Israel flew to Switzerland where they spent time studying at the underground laboratories of CERN, the European organization for nuclear research. In addition to spending time in the world's largest physics laboratory, students met with members of the Jewish Community of Geneva, including its chief Rabbi. This is the second year that YBA has sent students to CERN, and the first year that a delegation of young women has gone. Taking part of this opportunity is just another way that Yeshivot Bnei Akiva is training our students to become the next generation of innovators, creators and leaders in the 21st century economy.
